WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — The Williams Lake Mustangs have been eliminated from the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) playoffs.

The Mustangs were swept in the Okanagan-Shuswap Conference Final in four games by the Princeton Posse after dropping game four at the Cariboo Memorial Rec Complex Tuesday (April 7) 4-1.

The Mustangs’ lengthy postseason run began with a grueling seven-game series win over the Quesnel River Rush in the first round of the playoffs. Williams Lake then swept the Kamloops Storm to punch their ticket to the final four of the KIJHL playoffs.

It was the Mustangs’ second season in Williams Lake after the club relocated from Summerland ahead of the 2024-25 season.
