Howard Stern Ex-Assistant Seeks To Void NDA Over Hostile Work Environment

Howard Stern’s former executive assistant Leslie Kuhn filed a lawsuit in New York state court seeking to void her nondisclosure agreement, citing a hostile work environment. Kuhn was hired by SiriusXM in 2022 as office manager for The Howard Stern Show, later becoming Stern’s executive assistant at his production company, One Twelve, with a $265,000 salary. She was terminated for cause earlier this year after receiving a raise. Kuhn claims her firing resulted from pressure caused by an animal foster group run by Stern’s wife, not misconduct as alleged. She lived at Stern’s Southampton mansion since 2024, managing house staff and payroll. Kuhn seeks only a court declaration invalidating the agreement, not damages. The case resembles Robert De Niro’s former assistant lawsuit, which resulted in a $1.3 million gender discrimination award.
