KAMLOOPS — The City of Kamloops is reminding people about some more work being done at a downtown railway crossing this week, which will result in road and sidewalk closures.

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) will be working on the Second Avenue crossing between 4:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. every day until Sunday (April 12). Work began today, and the city says there will be detours set up and traffic control personnel on scene while crews are present.

Drivers are also being told to watch for disruptions at the Third Avenue railroad crossing while this work is taking place.
