SALMON ARM, B.C. — Canadian roots-rock legends Blue Rodeo will headline the 2026 edition of the Salmon Arm Roots and Blues Festival.

The headlining acts for the three-day festival were announced Wednesday (April 8), with Blue Rodeo taking the stage on Saturday night, July 25.

“Bringing back Blue Rodeo for a full performance has been three years in the making,” said artistic director Kevin Tobin in a news release. “It was just a matter of when.”

Led by singer-songwriters Jim Cuddy and Greg Keelor, Blue Rodeo will hit the Shuswap as part of the band’s 40th anniversary tour.

Icelandic indie-rock stalwarts Of Monsters and Men will headline the main stage on Friday (July 24), while Saskatchewan southern rock revivalists The Sheepdogs will close out the event, headlining on Sunday night (July 26).

“This was an amazing opportunity for us to ensure our programming attracts younger audiences, get them into the festival fold and give them a sense of what the festival is all about,” said Tobin.
