Snoop Dogg Joins Cast Of ‘God Of The Rodeo’ Film With Shia LaBeouf

Snoop Dogg will star alongside Shia LaBeouf in God Of The Rodeo, a new film written and directed by Rosalind Ross. His Death Row Pictures will produce the movie along with Giannina Scott and Ridley Scott (director of Alien and Gladiator), while Death Row Records creates the soundtrack. The film adapts journalist Daniel Bergner’s 1998 book about Louisiana’s Angola Prison, following inmates preparing for the prison’s annual rodeo. LaBeouf plays Buckkey, an inmate serving life who participates in Angola’s inaugural inmate rodeo in 1967. Snoop’s specific role remains unannounced.
