Three legendary R&B acts from the 1990s—Salt-N-Pepa, TLC, and En Vogue—are joining forces for the “It’s Iconic” summer tour across U.S. amphitheaters. The tour features a unique “mixtape vibe” format where groups seamlessly blend their sets without intermissions, similar to New Edition’s current arena tour. Fans can expect rapid transitions from “Shoop” to “Waterfalls” to “My Lovin’” as members rotate on stage. Salt-N-Pepa have reconciled with Spinderella, who joins the tour after their legal dispute. Three classic En Vogue members participate: Terry Ellis, Cindy Herron, and Maxine Jones. TLC continues as a duo with T-Boz and Chilli following Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes’ 2002 death. The tour launches August 15 in Franklin, Tennessee, and concludes October 11 in Concord, California. Chilli announced intensive July rehearsals: “eight hours a day, five days a week.” (Story URL)
