100 MILE HOUSE, B.C. — Residents in the 100 Mile House area will be without emergency room coverage for the ninth time this year, as Interior Health has announced another 13 hour closure this Friday (March 20).
Interior Health says the ER at the 100 Mile House District General Hospital will be closed from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday. People in the area who need emergency care are being told to head to Cariboo Memorial Hospital in Williams Lake, located about an hour’s drive away.
“All other inpatient services will continue at 100 Mile House District General Hospital,” Interior Health said, in a statement.
