DEVELOPING: Downtown 7-Eleven closed; Kamloops RCMP tape off parking lot

KAMLOOPS — Police have taped off the parking lot of a downtown convenience store. 

Speaking to CFJC Today Wednesday (March 11) morning, Kamloops RCMP Staff Sgt. Kevin McIntyre didn’t have specific details readily available, but the 7-Eleven location at the corner of Seymour Street and Sixth Avenue is closed due to an incident. 

McIntyre adds that police are working on providing an update to the public.
