ST. JOHN’s, NFLD. — With every soul-crushing setback, the outside noise increased, making it more difficult to reduce the volume of self doubt.
After two Brier final losses and an agonizing defeat in the Olympic trials final, some said Kamloops skip Matt Dunstone doesn’t have what it takes to win the big one.
When Dunstone awoke on Monday morning in St. John’s, Nfld., that outside noise was gone.
As CFJC Today reports, the only thing plaguing his mind was the fog of a hangover, the one he earned while celebrating the realization of a childhood dream.
