KAMLOOPS — The libero and head coach for the Thompson Rivers University WolfPack women’s volleyball team have earned year-end awards from Canada West.

Olivia Andulajevic was named Canada West’s Libero of the Year for the 2025-26 season while Chad Grimm was named Coach of the Year.

In her fourth year with the WolfPack, Andulajevic finished top five in Canada West for total digs (221) and digs-per-set (2.99) in 20 matches and 74 sets in 2025-26.

“It’s awesome for Olivia to win this award and incredibly well-deserved,” Grimm states in a news release issued Wednesday (March 4). “There was some trepidation to start the season with her playing position six, which is a totally different defensive responsibility, and I think it takes some time to get used to that. I’m happy for her that she was able to adjust to that, gain some flexibility and increase the range of her game. She’s always been fairly comfortable receiving the ball, I think she’s the top receiver in the league and she’s just brought stability to our passing core and has started to take more responsibility as a leader of the backcourt.”

Grimm has served as WolfPack women’s volleyball head coach since 2014-15. The WolfPack finished with a program-best finish of fourth in the Canada West standings in 2025-26 with a record of 14-6. The WolfPack hosted their first playoff series in program history and punched their tickets to the Canada West Final Four and U Sports National Championship.

“This honour is incredibly well-deserved and comes as no surprise to those of us who have the privilege of working alongside him every day,” Curtis Atkinson, TRU’s director of athletics and recreation, says. “It is especially meaningful to see this recognition come from his peers in the conference. They see what we see every day: a leader who puts his student-athletes first, who builds a culture of accountability and belief, who is competitive and driven, who supports growth, and who elevates everyone around him.”

Before nationals, the WolfPack will travel to Edmonton for the Canada West Final Four. They’ll take on the University of Alberta Pandas in the semifinals on Friday (March 6) at 5:00 p.m. PT.
