Kamloops RCMP searching for suspect in theft at Hillside business
KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are looking for a suspect who reportedly stole hundreds of dollars in merchandise from a business.
RCMP say they were told of a theft near the 1000-block of Hillside Drive at around 1:20 p.m. Friday (Feb. 27) where a woman reportedly stole a Milwaukee rotary hammer kit and two Milwaukee heated women’s jackets, worth a total of nearly $800.
While police didn’t identify the store in a news release Tuesday (March 3), the address is the location of Home Depot.
“As part of the ongoing investigation, police obtained an image of the suspect and are releasing it to the public and hoping that someone can make an identification,” Cpl. Dana Napier states.
