A man from Chase won $275,000 after spinning British Columbia Lottery Corporation’s (BCLC) take on the Big Wheel from the Price is Right.
BCLC says Ryan S. purchased his Big Spin Scratch & Win ticket at the Real Canadian Superstore on Columbia Street West in Kamloops. The man from Chase scanned his ticket and learned that he would travel to BCLC’s Vancouver office and spin a large wheel to take home a prize between $100,000 and $500,000.
“… I took [the ticket] to [Cascades Casino Kamloops] to check. My heart was going 300 miles per hour. I asked the casino if they had medical aid,” Ryan S. says in a news release issued Tuesday (Feb. 24). “I had to explain to [my wife] what the ‘big spin’ meant.”
