Storm add Kamloops local Fisher as KIJHL season winds down
KAMLOOPS — While the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) trade deadline passed more than a month ago, the Kamloops Storm were able to make one more move by adding a local player.
The Storm announced the signing of 2007-born forward Aidan Fisher of Kamloops Wednesday (Feb. 11).
Fisher has spent the 2025-26 season with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks of the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL). He has four assists in 21 games, last suiting up for the Silverbacks on Dec. 20.
Prior to that, Fisher spent the 2024-25 season with RINK Hockey Academy Kelowna’s U-18 prep team, scoring 17 goals and 37 points in 35 games. He also suited up for the Storm for three games in 2023-24.
