CNN, Variety To Host Town Hall With Timothée Chalamet And Matthew McConaughey

CNN and Variety will host a live town hall featuring Timothée Chalamet and Matthew McConaughey on February 21st at 7 p.m. ET. The event reunites the actors who played father and son in Christopher Nolan’s 2014 film Interstellar. Filmed before University of Texas at Austin students, the program will feature candid discussion about their craft and creative process. Chalamet recently earned his third Oscar nomination for Marty Supreme, while McConaughey won an Academy Award for Dallas Buyers Club and recently starred in Apple TV+’s The Lost Bus. McConaughey, a UT Austin alumnus, has taught film classes at the university since 2015. The actors will take audience questions throughout the evening. The town hall will air on CNN and stream for subscribers.
