$2.5 million lottery ticket sold in Lillooet

LILLOOET, B.C. — A lottery player who purchased a ticket in Lillooet is $2.5 million richer.
According to PlayNow, a ticket purchased in Lillooet matched all six numbers of Lotto 6/49’s classic draw prize of $5 million during the Jan. 31 draw.
The person with the winning ticket from Lillooet will split the prize with a player in Quebec who also matched all six numbers.
No one took home the $22 million gold ball grand prize. The jackpot increased to $24 million for Wednesday’s (Feb. 4) draw.
