Bill Cosby Admits To Getting Quaalude Prescriptions To Drug Women

Bill Cosby testified under oath that he obtained seven quaalude prescriptions from a gynecologist during a poker game, intending to give the pills to women for sexual purposes. The comedian admitted he never took the drugs himself. Court documents reveal Cosby received the prescriptions from Dr. Leroy Amar, a disgraced gynecologist whose license was later revoked in 1979. The poker game occurred at Cosby’s Los Angeles home before 1972. The admission emerged in a deposition for a lawsuit filed by Donna Motsinger, who claims Cosby drugged and raped her in 1972 when she worked at Sausalito’s Trident restaurant. Motsinger alleges Cosby gave her what she believed was aspirin, causing her to lose consciousness and wake up the next day wearing only underwear. Story URL
