Clipse and Pharrell Williams added to Grammy Awards performers list

On Thursday (January 22), the Recording Academy announced that Clipse and Pharrell Williams will perform at the 2026 Grammy Awards on Sunday, February 1st. Clipse earned five Grammy nominations this year, including Album of the Year and Best Rap Album for Let God Sort Em Out, along with Best Rap Performance for “Chains & Whips,” and Best Rap Song for “The Birds Don’t Sing.” Thirteen-time Grammy winner Pharrell, who produced the Clipse album, received three nominations for the same awards. The Grammys praised the Virginia musicians in the caption of their social media announcement, writing “VA STANDUP! Are we getting bangers from ‘Let God Sort Em Out’ or classics from ‘Lord Willin’’? Anything can happen with this legendary link up.” Trevor Noah will host the ceremony, with previously announced performers including Sabrina Carpenter, Addison Rae, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Alex Warren, and others. Kendrick Lamar leads all Grammy nominees with nine nominations. (Variety)
