Piers Morgan is recovering in a London hospital after fracturing his femur in a fall. The 60-year-old said on X and Instagram that he “tripped on a small step” at a hotel restaurant, adding, “So badly I needed [a] new hip.” Morgan wrote that he will use crutches for six weeks and avoid long-haul travel for 12 weeks. NBC has ordered a pilot for an untitled detective comedy from Brooklyn Nine-Nine producers Dan Goor and Luke Del Tredici. Kianna Underwood, a former Nickelodeon child actor, was killed early Friday in a hit-and-run crash in Brooklyn, New York. She was 33. Police said Underwood was crossing a street around 6:45 a.m. when a black Ford Explorer struck her in a marked crosswalk. A black and gray sedan then hit and dragged her for two blocks. Paramount Pictures has scheduled a new Paranormal Activity film for release on May 21, 2027. The untitled sequel will be directed by Ian Tuason. James Wan and Jason Blum are producing.
