Williams Lake RCMP investigating suspicious death in small Cariboo community

LIKELY, B.C. — RCMP are investigating a suspicious death in the Cariboo community of Likely, located about 100 kilometres from Williams Lake.
Williams Lake RCMP say they were called to a home in the community northeast of Polley Lake on Wednesday (Jan. 14) evening where they found the body of an adult man.
In a news release Thursday, RCMP say evidence led investigators to believe the man’s death may be suspicious in nature.
“Police remain on scene while a thorough forensic examination is conducted,” the RCMP said. “Police do not believe there to be any risk to the general public.”
