Fox’s ‘Baywatch’ Reboot To Hold Open Casting Call In Los Angeles
Fox will conduct an open casting call February 18th at the Marina Del Rey Marriott for their upcoming Baywatch reboot. Adults of all ethnicities and genders can audition for series regular, recurring, and walk-on roles including lifeguards, beachgoers, bartenders, and love interests. Performers should dress “Baywatch ready” in beach-appropriate attire but “avoid overly revealing styles and costumes.” Production begins in March at Venice Beach and Fox studios, with the series premiering during the 2027-2028 season. The original Baywatch became a global phenomenon, reportedly reaching over one billion weekly viewers across more than 200 countries at its peak. The series featured David Hasselhoff and aired for 11 seasons between 1989 and 2001, beginning on NBC before moving to syndication. Fox later broadcast a reunion film in 2003.
