Moses Martin, Son Of Chris Martin And Gwyneth Paltrow, Launches Music Career With New Band, People I’ve Met
Moses Martin, the 19-year-old son of Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow, has launched his music career with his new band, People I’ve Met. The group, also featuring Andrew Suster and Orlando Wiltshire, recently released their debut single, “Promise,” through Interscope Records. “So proud of this song,” Moses wrote on Instagram, while adding, “Endlessly grateful for the band and @noahconrad for helping to make this song so special. Hope you enjoy.” The alt-rock track, which features Moses on vocals, showcases a moodier sound than his father’s Coldplay material. Moses previously contributed vocals to Coldplay songs including “Humankind,” and has writing credits on “All My Love,” “The Astronaut,” and “Orphans.” Moses also memorably joined Coldplay onstage during their headlining performance at Glastonbury in 2016. His sister Apple Martin, 21, also pursues music and co-wrote Coldplay’s “Let Somebody Go” featuring Selena Gomez. (
