Elon Musk Plans To Seek Full Custody Of Son Over Ashley St. Clair’s Trans Rights Support
Elon Musk announced Monday he will file for full custody of his son with Ashley St. Clair after she publicly supported transgender rights. “I will be filing for full custody today, given her statements implying she might transition a one-year-old boy,” Musk, 54, wrote on X. St. Clair, 27, did not publicly say anything about “transitioning” a child, but expressed remorse for her past transphobic remarks, stating “I feel immense guilt for my role” and apologized to Musk’s transgender daughter Vivian Wilson. St. Clair announced in February 2025 that Musk fathered her son Romulus, his 13th child. Musk previously stated “I don’t know if the child is mine or not but am not against finding out” and claimed he gave St. Clair “$2.5M” plus “$500K/year.” St. Clair alleged Musk “refused” paternity testing and withdrew financial support to “maintain control and punish me for ‘disobedience.’”
