Janet Jackson hints at big things for 2026

Janet Jackson suggested something special is coming in 2026 during a New Year video message to fans. The singer reflected on the past year before making her cryptic announcement. “I feel we had an incredible 2025, but I think everybody is in for a treat in 2026,” Jackson said. Fans are speculating about possible new music on the way or an upcoming tour, while noting that 2026 marks the five-time Grammy-winner’s 60th birthday as well as her fifth decade in music. Jackson’s last studio album was 2015’s Unbreakable, and while she previously announced a planned follow-up, Black Diamond, in 2020, the pandemic put that project on hold. The Rock & Roll Hall of Famer completed her Las Vegas residency in February 2025, and recently announced an extended run of performances in May. She returned to touring in 2023 with her Together Again World Tour, which featured 94 shows across North America, Europe, and Asia. (NME)
