VIDEO: Kamloops RCMP pursuit ends with apparent police-involved collision near North Shore Canco station

KAMLOOPS — An apparent RCMP chase ended in the heart of the Kamloops North Shore business district Monday evening (Dec. 22).

Kamloops RCMP have yet to publicize any details but reports on social media indicate the pursuit took place during the 7:00 p.m. hour.

The subject vehicle appears to have been a newer model Dodge Ram pickup truck.

The pursuit came to an end at the Canco gas station in the 200-block of Tranquille Road.

Photos from the scene show an RCMP SUV with front-end damage parked on the road while the Ram was being loaded onto a flat-deck tow truck.

There is no word why police were pursuing the vehicle or if anyone was injured in the incident.
