Blazers, Sea Devils square off in Vancouver Island-Interior clash at KIBIHT

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson Zone Blazers opened Kamloops International Bantam Ice Hockey Tournament play on Wednesday (Dec. 17), falling 9-0 to Seklerland Hockey Academy of Romania in Tier 1 Double “A” Randy Lindros Division action.


On Thursday, the Kamloops-based club bounced back, earning a 5-1 over Kelowna Rink Hockey Academy.

The Blazers returned to the ice on Friday morning, squaring off against the Pacific Coast Sea Devils of Victoria at Sandman Centre.

Pacific Coast prevailed 6-3. CFJC Today was at the game. The story is attached.

There are four Kamloops teams in action at KIBIHT.

As of Friday afternoon, Thompson Zone was 1-2, the tier 2 Kamloops team was 0-3, the tier 3 Kamloops team was 0-2 and the under-15 female A Blazers were 2-1.
