KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP say they stuffed two vans outside the Superstore during last month’s Stuff the Cruiser event.

In a statement, Kamloops RCMP say the annual toy drive brought in approximately $800 in cash and $4,000 in gifts for Christmas Amalgamated. Those donations will be sorted and delivered to families ahead of the holiday season.

“This was an incredible show of support by the community,” Sandro Piroddi, the coordinator of the Kamloops Crime Prevention Unit, said. “This success of this event comes from the support of the businesses, volunteers and the generosity of those who donated to this impactful event.”

Piroddi says people who missed the Nov. 29 event can still donate to Christmas Amalgamated by calling 250-376-0777.
