KAMLOOPS — Fans brought stuffed animals, tuques, mittens and scarves to the rink on Friday (Dec. 5) when the Kamloops Blazers hosted the Penticton Vees on Teddy Bear Toss Night at Sandman Centre.
When Kayd Reudig scored the Blazers’ first goal, more than 2,000 Teddy bears rained down onto the ice — 2,065 to be exact.
The Blazers gathered at Royal Inland Hospital on Tuesday to make a series of special deliveries, including some to new parents in the neonatal intensive care unit.
CFJC Today tagged along.
