KAMLOOPS — Jolly Old St. Nick and Mrs. Claus are welcoming visitors at Santa’s Village.

The 1/12-scale North Pole replica is set up at 250 Victoria St., open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekends and 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on weekdays, as well as by appointment.

Mrs. Claus spreads holiday cheer at the door and leads a scavenger hunt through the village, which features a candy shop, dance hall, reindeer flying school and other miniature scenes.

Christmas music and lights contribute to the ambience.

After the scavenger hunt, Santa joins in the merrymaking, offering glad tidings and conversation.

Family pictures with the Man in Red are encouraged and pets are welcome in the photo booth.

Village-goers can drop letters in a mailbox before they leave. Santa and Mrs. Claus will reply.

The price of entry is $30 per family. Photos, a stuffie and a candy cane are included.

For more information, find Kamloops Santa Claus on Facebook.

Gingerbread house workshops for children ages six through 11 will be on Dec. 6, Dec. 13 and Dec. 20.
