Canada to face United States in final of Para Cup hockey tournament
DAWSON CREEK — Canada will face an old rival for gold at the Para Cup.
Dominic Cozzolino scored twice and added three assists as the hosts topped Czechia 7-0 on Friday to make the hockey tournament’s title match.
The United States, which bested its neighbour to the north 3-2 in round-robin action, thumped China 13-2 in the other semifinal at the four-team event. The championship game goes Saturday.
James Dunn added two goals and two assists for Canada against the Czechs. Corbin Watson made 12 saves to register the shutout.
