Blazers make Teddy Bear Toss goal predictions

Dec 4, 2025 | 8:22 PM

KAMLOOPS — The annual Teddy Bear Toss is the brainchild of former Kamloops Blazers’ marketing director Don Larson and the tradition that started in 1993 will continue on Friday night (Dec. 5) at Sandman Centre.

Fans are asked to bring stuffed animals, tuques, mittens and scarves to the rink, so they can throw them onto the ice when the Blazers score their first goal against the visiting Penticton Vees.

Game time is 7:00 p.m.

After the haul is collected, it will be sorted by the Blazers Booster Club and delivered to a number of community organizations across the city, with Royal Inland Hospital and seniors’ homes among the recipients.
