KAMLOOPS — Jimmy Carr is coming to Kamloops for the very first time next year, and he’s bringing his edgy, dark, and often controversial one-liners with him.

The British-Irish comedy superstar has announced a new 31 city Canadian tour, which includes a stop at Sandman Centre on Sunday Sept. 20, 2026.

The ‘Laughs Funny Tour’ includes six B.C. dates, with also Carr set to perform in Victoria on Sept. 16, Abbotsford on Sept. 17, Vancouver on Sept. 18, Kelowna on Sept. 19 and in Prince George on Sept. 21.

The 53-year-old Carr is a household name in UK television having hosted shows like 8 Out of 10 Cats, Roast Battle as well as The Big Fat Quiz of The Year.

He’s also known for his very recognizable laugh.

Carr was in the B.C. Interior last year during the ‘Charm Offensive Tour’ that also featured Australian comedian Jim Jefferies. He was also in Kelowna in 2023 as part of his ‘Terribly Funny’ tour, however, both those tours did not include stops in Kamloops.

Tickets for the ‘Laughs Funny Tour’ go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on Dec. 5 through Ticketmaster.
