KAMLOOPS — Police in Kamloops are asking for help in identifying a man who walked out of a Valleyview warehouse early Monday (Nov. 24) morning with five BB rifles.

Police say they were called to a store on the 2100-block of the Trans Canada Highway around 7:30 a.m. Monday, after five Umarex USA Inc StrikeForce Full Auto BB rifles were reported stolen.

“According to the report, a man allegedly walked directly into the warehouse where the BB rifles were stored, took five of the very realistic looking BB rifles and exited out the nearest door in the warehouse,” Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier said.

“Police have been unable to identify the man and are releasing photo’s captured of him to the public in order to help advance the investigation.”

Napier says police have released a picture of the suspect dressed in what appears to be a greyish-white hoodie with black pants, black shoes and a black toque in the hopes that someone will recognize him.

Investigators are also looking to speak to a woman as a person of interest who may be able to help further the investigation. Dressed in a green shirt, a green jacket and black packets, police have also released her photo in the hopes she can be identified.
