Blazers, playing with defencemen up front, aim to hold steady while injuries heal

KAMLOOPS — In recent weeks, the Kamloops Blazers have been asking defenders to play up front, this due to an injury-depleted forward group.
Blazers head coach and general manager Shaun Clouston said he could have called up younger forwards, such as 15-year-old Tegan Bouchard, but decided against going that route.
With a glut of defencemen on the roster, Clouston expects to move ahead with a defender-infused forward group until his team gets healthy.
