Kamloops RCMP to ‘Stuff the Cruiser’ again in 2025

Nov 24, 2025 | 10:24 AM

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding toys, gift cards and cash for families throughout the city.

The Kamloops detachment will host its annual Stuff the Cruiser event from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29 outside Superstore in Lower Sahali.

RCMP say donated items will be delivered to Christmas Amalgamated, which will then be sorted and delivered in hampers to families ahead of the holiday season.

According to the Kamloops detachment, last year’s Stuff the Cruiser collected more than 2,000 items and nearly $365 in cash.

“Spread the holiday cheer just by dropping in and saying hello to our volunteers and Sgt. Safety Bear is a great way to support this event,” said Sandro Piroddi, Kamloops RCMP Crime Prevention Unit coordinator. “Every year, we are overwhelmed with the generosity of the community to support this event.”

Residents who would like to donate to Stuff the Cruiser but can’t attend on Saturday are encouraged to drop unwrapped donations to the North Shore Community Policing Office at 915 Seventh Street between 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. RCMP note the North Shore office is closed from noon to 1:00 p.m.

Anyone interested in donating can also call 250-376-5099.
