KAMLOOPS — Police say they have arrested a man believed to be responsible for property crime throughout Kamloops and Salmon Arm.

According to a release, the arrest took place on November 4 after an ‘intensive’ investigation involving several jurisdictions and RCMP units. Police also recovered several stolen vehicles as part of their efforts.

Tyler Armstrong has been charged with:

  • driving while disqualified (x2)
  • possession of stolen property (x2)
  • flight from police
  • failing to comply with court orders (x4)

“This arrest demonstrates the continued commitment of the Kamloops CRU, PDS and our provincial partners in IMPACT to target and disrupt those who cause significant harm to our communities,” said Supt. Jeff Pelley. “By working together across jurisdictions, we’re able to hold these individuals accountable and reduce property crime throughout the region.”

Armstrong is due back before a judge on Thursday (Nov. 20).
