WolfPack women return to winning ways in Regina

REGINA, SK — The TRU WolfPack women’s volleyball team is back in the Canada West win column, after a split against the UBC Thunderbirds last weekend.

The WolfPack beat the Regina Cougars 3-1 (25-18, 25-20, 19-25, 25-14) in a Friday (Nov.14) meeting in Saskatchewan.

Keira Gent hit .308 per cent with 12 kills while Rida Erlalelitepe added 12 kills of her own along with a pair of solo and three block assists. Kamloopsian Hail Ward also recorded 11 kills while Maria Dancheva added 10 kills along with two solo and two block assists.

The WolfPack are 5-2 this season and they sit third in the conference. They’ll play the Cougars in their second game of the weekend this evening.
