Rainfall warning in B.C. extends to Whistler, Sea to Sky Highway
VANCOUVER — The rainfall warning in effect for the Howe Sound and parts of Metro Vancouver in British Columbia’s south coast has been extended to more communities, including Whistler.
Environment Canada says in the expanded warning includes up to 50 millimetres of rain for the resort community.
The heavy rain is expected to last through much of Thursday.
The warning also covers the Sea to Sky Highway, where Environment Canada says rain may exceed 50 millimetres.
