Three people taken to hospital after knife fight in Westsyde parking lot
KAMLOOPS — Police say three people were taken to hospital with serious, non-life-threatening injuries after a knife fight in a Westsyde parking lot this weekend.
Kamloops RCMP say it happened around 4:15 p.m. on Saturday (Nov. 8) and they responded to reports of a “large fight involving knives” in the 3400-block of Westsyde Road, which is the address of the Westsyde Shopping Centre.
No arrests have been made yet and it’s not clear why the fight broke out or who was involved, as police say that is being investigated.
“The Kamloops RCMP detachment’s General Investigation Support Team is working to further the investigation,” said Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier.
