WATCH: Officers help guide moose calf out of fenced area near Clinton

CLINTON, B.C. — A moose calf received a helping hoof after getting trapped behind a fence near Clinton.

On Oct. 27, officers with Clinton RCMP and the BC Conservation Officer Service gently guided the moose toward the opening of the fence. Eventually, the moose was on the loose and presumably returned to see his best friend, Rocky J. Squirrel.

“It’s not an every day that you are called to a stuck moose,” Cst. Taylor Sippel from the BC Provincial Support Team states in a news release. “We’re glad that we were able to let this moose loose and that no one was moose-handled in the process.”
