UPDATE: No injuries reported as Kamloops firefighters battle structure fire in Barnhartvale
KAMLOOPS — (UPDATE 6:15 p.m.): Kamloops Fire Rescue says a trailer house in Barnhartvale that went up in flames just before noon Sunday (Nov. 2) will likely be a total loss.
KFR Platoon Capt. Kris Krutop told CFJC Today that no injuries were reported as crews raced to a house on Klahanie Drive. They arrive to find a fully-involved structure with smoke rising, as witnessed in pictures from the scene.
While firefighters appear to have made quick work of the blaze, Krutop said it wasn’t without its challenges.
“There were a number of additions on the trailer house that made it difficult to respond to but we got it out,” he said. “Everyone got out safely ahead of time.”
