Thousands in Kamloops without power as BC Hydro responds to outages

KAMLOOPS — BC Hydro crews are responding to a pair of power outages that has thousands of customers in Kamloops in the dark in the middle of Game 7 of the World Series.
The outage is affecting 2,530 customers in Upper Sahali while another outage is affecting 576 customers in the Juniper Ridge and Rose Hill areas.
While both outages are being blamed on downed power poles, a more specific cause is not known this time.
BC Hydro says crews are responding to both outages though there is no estimated time when power may be restored.
