Dunstone heading to Grand Slam event in Nevada aiming to regain momentum ahead of Olympic trials

KAMLOOPS — Matt Dunstone of Kamloops is skipping the world’s second-ranked curling team, which includes third Colton Lott and the Brush Brothers — Ryan Harnden and E.J. Harnden.
The team is travelling to Lake Tahoe, Nevada, this weekend ahead of KIOTI Grand Slam of Curling Tahoe, which is scheduled to run from Nov. 4 to Nov. 9 in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.
The event will mark the first Grand Slam held on U.S. soil.
How a curling event in Lake Tahoe will be received remains to be seen, but attendance won’t be top of mind for Dunstone.
