Overnight closure coming to Exit 374 on Trans-Canada Highway in Kamloops

KAMLOOPS — There will be an overnight closure on a major Trans-Canada Highway exit in Kamloops this evening, Oct. 30.

The Ministry of Transportation and Transit will be repairing the guardrail at the Exit 374 flyover, with work set to take place between 8:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.

According to the city, general traffic on the Trans-Canada bound for Highway 5 will be detoured through Valleyview to turn around at Vicars Road. Commercial vehicles will have to detour to Kokanee Way before returning.

“Please obey all signage and detour information,” the City of Kamloops said.

CFJC Today asked the Ministry if the repairs are due to a single vehicle crash on the overpass off-ramp back that happened back on Oct. 4, but no response was received before deadline Thursday.
