Blazers can’t hang on to lead, fall to Giants 5-3
LANGLEY, B.C. — The Kamloops Blazers let one get away on Sunday (Oct. 26) night in Langley.
In their third game in as many nights, the Blazers fell 5-4 to the Vancouver Giants at the Langley Events Centre. It comes one night after the Blazers lost to the Giants 5-4 in overtime at home.
Josh Evaschesen ensured the Blazers started Sunday’s game well. The former British Columbia Hockey League player put himself into a tie for third in team scoring as he fired home a wrist shot from the slot halfway through the first period.
