Chase RCMP searching for suspects in stolen pickup who fled amid refueling

CHASE, B.C. — RCMP in Chase are searching for two suspects spotted in a pickup truck that was reported stolen from the Kamloops area.
Shortly before noon on Thursday, Oct. 16, Chase RCMP say an officer patrolling near Squilax-Anglemont Road saw a dark green Ford F-250 with no front license plate fueling up at a gas station.
As the officer approached, RCMP say a man threw the nozzle to the ground, jumped into the driver’s seat and headed westbound on the Trans Canada Highway.
Police say they obtained video surveillance and identified two suspects. The investigation is ongoing.
