Mounties looking into report of man leering in residence windows on TRU campus

KAMLOOPS — Kamloops RCMP are working to identify a man reported looking in the windows of a residence on the TRU campus in the middle of the night.

In a news release distributed Tuesday (Oct. 21), spokesperson Cpl. Dana Napier says the incident happened at about 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 7.

Napier says police received a report of a man peering in the window of residence in the 1000-block of University Drive. This report was similar to two other reports in the same area.

“Our General Investigation Services Team and Forensic Identification Services have been investigating this occurrence,” said Napier. “We are working with our community partners to enhance safety in area.”

RCMP have released a photo of a person of interest.
