WolfPack men’s soccer team shut out by Trinity Western 1-0

KAMLOOPS — The Thompson River’s University (TRU) WolfPack men’s soccer team were shut out at home by the Trinity Western Spartans of Langley 1-0 Saturday (Oct. 18) afternoon.
One goal in the sixth minute was enough to keep the Spartans ahead as the WolfPack fired 17 shots trying to find the equalizer. Spartans goalkeeper Yeshua Siwamba made three saves for the clean sheet.
The WolfPack’s fall to three wins, 11 losses and one draw on the 2025 Canada West season, placing them sixth in the Pacific Division with a win percentage of 0.22 per cent. TRU will not advance to the Canada West playoffs.
The WolfPack wrap up their season when they host the University of the Fraser Valley Cascades Sunday (Oct. 19) at 12:00 p.m. from Hillside Stadium.
