Bus driver killed in Ord Road crash remembered for taking pride in work; caring for Kamloops and his passengers
KAMLOOPS — The identity of the BC Transit driver who passed away in a collision on Ord Road earlier this month has been made public.
The organizer of an online fundraiser says Keith Gordon was a part of BC Transit for 25 years, and he took great pride in his work and cared deeply for his passengers and the Kamloops community.
Funds raised will go toward covering funeral arrangements and any other related expenses. The fundraiser notes a Celebration of Life for Gordon will be held on Nov. 1, 2025, at 320 Royal Ave. from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Friends, coworkers and anyone whose life was impacted by Gordon are invited to attend.
The collision between the transit bus Gordon was driving and a semi-truck transpired on the 900-block of Ord Road at around 10:50 a.m. on Oct. 1, 2025.
