KAMLOOPS — Bert Edwards Science and Technology School hosted its 14th annual Rivers Day on Friday [Oct. 10] on the shore of the North Thompson River.
Nearly 300 students from Kindergarten through Grade 7 were engaged in hands-on learning outside of the classroom.
McQueen Lake resource teacher Wayne Deptuck and Adrian Lewis of the McAbee Fossil Beds Heritage Site offered expertise, along with representatives from Kruger and B.C. Parks.
