WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — UPDATE (Oct. 17): Williams Lake RCMP say Travis Storoschuk has been located.

EARLIER: Police in Williams Lake are asking for help in locating a man who is wanted on a slew of charges.

Early Wednesday (Oct. 8) morning, police say they responded to a complaint of a break, enter and assault, though they did not specify where. In a news release Thursday, police said an investigation identified the suspect as Travis Storoschuk, adding a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Police say Storoschuk is wanted on an unendorsed warrant with charges that include assault by suffocating or strangling, breaking and entering, forcible confinement, failure to comply with a release order, failure to comply with a probation order, and uttering threats.

According to police, Storoschuk may be driving a grey 2012 Ford F-350 with BC license plate VG9561. In a previous news release, he was described as a white man standing six-foot-three weighing 216 lbs with brown hair and brown eyes.
